• To methodically free up spaces by opening out previously boxed up volumes, but retaining the architectural identity of the building

• To re-link the original  courtyards and create a larger and smaller spill out spaces for students

• To create a central open volume that bridges and interacts with multiple levels

• To address issues of poor ventilation at all levels, especially the basement

• To re-interpret the administration and faculty spaces from the existing cabin type usage

• To re-configure the academic facilities for different modules of UG and PG programs, as per the number of users

• To upgrade poor services
