A gently swooping central volume, with a wide verandah around makes the canteen building for the pharmacy college. The large skylight from the north brings in abundant daylight to the core, housing the kitchen. Verandah around the kitchen becomes an interactive seating space for the students, with built-in seats. Some seats spill out under the many, lush trees to make for an informal gathering space, after lectures. The central core is distinguished with its bright, orange rising above the muted, grey periphery of the verandah.
